The work.

Survey, specify, install, then stay. The equipment follows the site — never the other way around.

01

See the whole site.

We design surveillance that an operator can actually use: coverage that matches the risk, recording that holds up, and video tied into alarms where a picture must follow an event.

  • Site survey and camera schedule
  • Indoor, outdoor and high-risk coverage
  • Recording, retention and viewing
  • Video-enabled alarm integration

02

Every entry, decided.

Doors, gates and controlled zones only work if they match shift patterns, visitors and emergency routes. We specify the readers, controllers and rules, then install them so staff are not fighting the system on day one.

  • Door, gate and zone design
  • Credentials and permission rules
  • Visitor and after-hours flow
  • Integration with video and alarms

03

An alarm you can trust.

A system that raises false alarms gets ignored. We select detection for the environment — offices, yards, plants and high-risk points — and commission it with the people who will respond.

  • Intruder detection design
  • Alarm panels and signalling
  • High-risk point protection
  • Commissioning with operators

04

Still working after handover.

An install without a maintenance path is a short-term purchase. We stay on for repairs, replacements and planned upkeep so the system still does the job it was specified for.

  • Fault finding and repair
  • Planned maintenance
  • Spares and replacements
  • Support over multi-month terms

05

Specified, not assembled.

Before equipment is ordered, the question is whether the investment will perform. We review the site, the risk and the existing kit, then recommend the tools and resources that will actually secure it.

  • Requirement and risk review
  • Specification you can tender or build to
  • Review of existing systems
  • Advice on performance, not just product

Rugged Mobility Solutions

Today’s workforce is increasingly mobile. From warehouses and logistics to construction sites, utilities, field service and the public sector, people depend on mobile technology to stay productive. Ordinary consumer devices are not built for that. Moribula Ruggedworks supplies fit-for-purpose mobile technology designed around the people, the environment and the application. The work goes beyond handing over a rugged phone or tablet. We learn the operational requirement and configure a complete mobility solution: devices, accessories, communications and device management where they are needed. The result is practical mobile technology that keeps people connected, productive and operational.

Rugged smartphones and tablets

Ruggedworks provides a carefully selected range of professional smartphones and tablets designed for organisations where durability, reliability and a long working life matter. The portfolio runs from everyday business mobility to demanding industrial and field environments. Depending on the requirement, devices can include:

  • Ruggedised smartphones and tablets
  • Water and dust resistance
  • Enhanced impact and drop protection
  • Extended battery capacity
  • Glove-friendly and outdoor-readable displays
  • Dedicated programmable buttons
  • NFC and barcode-scanning capability
  • Vehicle and desktop charging solutions
  • Specialist accessories and mounting systems

Rather than a one-device-fits-all approach, Ruggedworks helps customers select equipment for the environment, the application and the commercial requirement.

Mobile workforce solutions

A rugged device is worth more when it sits inside the work, not beside it. Ruggedworks can support organisations whose people need to communicate, receive instructions, capture data or reach enterprise applications away from an office. Typical applications include:

  • Field service and maintenance
  • Warehousing and inventory management
  • Transport and logistics
  • Construction and engineering
  • Utilities and infrastructure
  • Security operations
  • Retail and distribution
  • Manufacturing
  • Emergency and public services
  • Agriculture and remote operations

Solutions can be configured around smartphones, tablets, scanning devices and application-specific accessories, so people have the tools they need at the point of work.

Push-to-talk and team communications

For mobile or distributed teams, fast voice can matter as much as data. Ruggedworks can integrate push-to-talk over cellular (PTToC) and related communications into compatible devices, so a smartphone can carry the functions of a two-way radio and still work as a modern Android device. One platform for voice, messaging, applications and operational data.

Device management and control

A large deployment is more than the hardware. Ruggedworks can incorporate mobile device management so an organisation can see and control the devices in the field. Depending on the solution, administrators can configure devices, deploy applications, manage settings, apply security policies and support users remotely. That standardises the mobile environment and cuts the work of looking after a large fleet.

Accessories and deployment

A mobility solution often depends on what surrounds the device. Ruggedworks can provide and configure accessories including:

  • Desktop and multi-bay charging systems
  • Vehicle chargers and cradles
  • Protective cases
  • Belt clips and carrying solutions
  • Headsets and remote speaker microphones
  • Barcode scanners
  • Hand straps and tablet mounts
  • Replacement batteries and power solutions

Where required, devices can be prepared and configured before they go out, so the move from procurement to use is as short as possible.

A complete rugged mobility solution

The Ruggedworks philosophy is simple: the solution must fit the job, not the other way around. Hardware, communications and device management are specified together, so the result is one platform rather than a box of separate products. From a small team that needs dependable smartphones to an enterprise deployment of hundreds or thousands of devices, we identify the technology, configure the solution and support the implementation. Ruggedworks keeps people connected where the work actually happens.

Physical Perimeter Fence

The first physical line of defence is the perimeter, whether that is an office, a factory, a school, a hospital or a home. A fence is often already there. In many places the material, or the way it was installed, is not equal to the risk. Moribula assesses the perimeter with the client and specifies a durable, cost-effective fence. It is installed by people who take responsibility for the job, and it is planned with the electronic and physical security so the perimeter is one project, not a separate purchase.

Welded mesh anti-climb fencing

Welded mesh anti-climb fencing is the product used where the perimeter has to hold. It gives a high level of protection and stays visually open. Heights, specifications and finishes can be matched to the site. The fencing is designed and manufactured in South Africa, and it can be adapted or custom-made for the environment. The mesh is nearly see-through, so the line sits in its surroundings rather than standing as a solid wall.

Typical applications

  • Building perimeters
  • Electricity installations
  • Ports and airports
  • Railway infrastructure
  • Bridges and walkways
  • Hospitals and health centres
  • Detention centres and prisons
  • Psychiatric hospital grounds
  • Water treatment works and pumping stations
  • Gas pipelines

Territorial reinforcement

A fence marks the line between public and private property. People who belong there can see it, and they notice who does not. The installation is specified to reduce the chance of a perimeter intrusion, using current products rather than a generic panel.

Consulting and design

The fence is there to safeguard assets and people. An experienced team works with the client to decide what the site actually needs. The finished design has to be secure, and it has to be appropriate to the place.
